Guides on finding, understanding and dealing with wasp nests.
Many people picture a professional visit as expensive and complicated, so this guide walks through the steps from the first phone call to the end of the job.
Good notes make a quick job. This guide shows what to record about a suspected nest, so the technician can confirm it and plan the visit with the facts.
Much of what people believe about wasps is half true. Sorting fact from folklore makes it easier to respond calmly and to know when a nest really is a problem.
Finding one nest does not always mean finding them all. An early, careful check of the whole property can catch a second nest while it is still small.
Plenty of harmless insects copy the yellow and black pattern, so a short step-by-step check can save you a needless call and spare insects that pose no danger.
