Guides on finding, understanding and dealing with wasp nests.
Not every shed nest is inside the shed. Wasps disappearing into a hole in the soil beside the base or under the floor need a different kind of caution.
Most delays in treating a nest at a rental property are about access. Sorting out keys, gates and permission in advance makes the visit quick and trouble-free.
You cannot see a cavity nest, which is why hidden ones are more awkward than a nest in a shed, and why a professional's judgement matters.
If wasps built under your eaves last year, you may fear a repeat. The truth is that each nest is brand new, but a good site can attract a queen more than once.
Not every hedge nest is up in the branches. Some are at the foot of the plant, in the soil, and they catch out people who are only looking up.
“Brilliant effective service! Thank you so much for coming over so quickly to get rid of the wasp nest. I am allergic to wasp/bee stings so to be rid of it so quickly and so amazing is great. Thank you once again.”
